Art Invisible

Art Invisible and The Canteen

Meet the Art Invisible Artists

Art Invisible is run in the busy and vibrant design studio where Art Invisible artists work alongside talented instructors and wonderful volunteers to create artwork and crafts. Art Invisible sets a very high standard, demanding high quality and innovative work from all artists, this is not a passive Art provision, it's work and everyone is involved in all of the projects that run throughout the year. Much is expected of everyone and this has bought about huge successes, Art Invisible artists have had work exhibited in over 25 local and national major exhibitions throughout the UK and even in Paris.

Its not all hard work, the teams seem to have a lot of fun throughout the day as well.  There's plenty of time to sit and chat with friends, discuss projects and work with Job Coaches, Volunteers or Peers to create wonderful collaborative art work.

Many of our artists sell their work, either through the major exhibitions or at the Art Fayres they hold during the year, these events also give the artists the opportunity to show of their work, talk to the public, this actively improves the confidence, communication skills and self esteem of those involved.

The Canteen

We have a small but wonderful team of people who work under the watchful eye of a kitchen supervisor, creating refreshments throughout the day. The Canteen team are trained in basic food hygiene and safe working practices. Not only do they keep our Artists happy and well fed, but we have a few community groups that use our centre who also enjoy the drinks and food prepared by our team. We have had lots of compliments on their excellent customer service skills and catering! Overall, this team develops confidence, hospitality, catering, and customer service skills during their working day.
